With a tender expected imminently and a budget of 60 million euros - mostly funded by the EU - his project is a construction heavyweight. The plan includes seven new tracks and a complete restoration of the rail link to the Danube Bridge.

Concrete works: Massive foundations are needed for the gantry cranes and container storage areas.
